Hey Lem, You are in a bit late. He got his new job almost two years ago. :) Vitoco, You should try the ' nmap ' tool. With this tool you can discover which ports on your proxy are available. The output of the tool is something like this: Starting nmap 3.81 ( h ttp:/ /w ww.insecure.org/nmap ) at 2005...

Hi Vitoco, Have you tried it and working ? You would be the first who tell me that using it and works. (Naturally for me also works and I use it for 5 months) Till now only HenryC asked about it in the original topic . And just two days ago martin-wb asked in topic 'Connect over a proxy server...' w...

Hi Martin, 11001 means 'Host not found'. By default for socks you should use port 1080. At plug-in options: - Are you sure that you correctly entered the IP address of your socks server ? - Do you have socks 4, 4a or 5 version ? Have you selected it correctly ? - If socks 5, then have you entered th...

You should not use 3.1 beta. The non-beta 3.1 (alpha, official, final ...) is available since January.
If you change something at "Plug-ins" settings or even just show these settings then you must restart the program (if you have older than 3.2beta).

Mawid, Which version of PopTray you are using ? An advice: if you use 3.1 (actual non-beta) or earlier then every time when you go to "Plug-ins" menu between "Options" you should restart the program, because this clicking only(without any change) crashes the objects used by the plug-in. The error is...

Yes you are right, but for me it was a good solution as I want to use UIDL and I know that the server supports it.
Then the solution: do not change to 'not supported' for an account if it was 'supported' once (e.g. 5 minutes ago).

Hi Renier, Thanx. In the name of PopTray community. (For me it's already included :) ) You can add "(Thanx to Attila / köszi Attilának)" words to the end of the line mentioning this in the history if you don't mind. I'd like to propose an other small change. There are temporary POP3 server problems/...

Hi, Inserting line Accounts[num-1].UIDLSupported:=true; as first line to TfrmPopMain.GetUIDs solved my problem. I think you'd like to save the unnecessary UIDL at the beginnig of every check if the server really not supports UIDL. My cheat solution is just the opposite, try UIDL always if quickcheck...

PopTray made full check instead of quick check

More then 4 hours after the start once I've noticed that the star on envelope stays too long. Monitoring the packets showed that PopTray downloads the headers. On next check, 5 minutes later the same behavior was observable. Restarting PopTray solved the problem. I could not yet reproduce the case s...
