Re: Looking for a script / StripSlashes

Hello, I was just thinking, but why do you work with a template for phpBB. The reason why I ask is this. Normally phpBB has the possibility for "visitors" to send comments, they can be posted directly or put on hold for validation. Also it is much more simple to have a PHP form that allows a "visito...

Re: Looking for a script / StripSlashes

Hello,

The link at the top of this post is not working for me, but the one you gave in your reply is.

I will check out a variation of the form that is used on one of the sites I manage and get back to you.

Just out of interest which version of PHP ?

Regards.

Re: Looking for a script / StripSlashes

Hello,

The blog would appear to be off-line at the moment.

Will it be up and running soon, so that I can look at it and suggest something.

Regards.

Re: double icon in systemtray

Hello, Normally "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users" is the folder that contains the parameters common to all users using the PC. The "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User" is the folder that is used by Windows for all the defaults when a new user connects for the first time. ( Normally you shoul...

Is there a getting started tutorial for poptray with a few examples? I find the format quite difficult. At present I can't use the product because of the difficulty of understanding it. Re: Error message when closing

Hello,

This does work for the Poptray.ini, Rules.ini and *.ptdat (W/B lists) files but not for the Preview.Customize.

So do not try to customise the preview window in a non admin account.

Hello, gerasidi : what you have posted is a contribution, that in it's self is something, putting ideas into the community makes the community react, stimulates thinking, stimulates discussion. This in turn stimulates the programmer, he sees that there is still interest in his work, people who whoul...

Hello, What design has been implemented incorrectly? Who defended it? Nothing, nobody. I understood gerasidi's messages as a proposal to make a preferred software tool even more attractive by adding skinability. And he was a bit surprised that nobody commented his elaborated proposals. Re: Aesthetics and the future of PopTray...

But if Poptray is to continue and a new version to see the day, again IMHO, it would be better to correct a few of those irritating bugs before changing the UI. We have become so used to having 'beautified' programs that no one e...
