OK - call it a red herring because A - I don't use the email scanner on AVG and B - cos it happens on two machines I use and the other one doesn't even use AVG <g> It really is rare for me tho so no issue from my point of view - if/when it happens again I'll try and remember "how" it occured. Not over helpful but I've had the problem too. However - for me - it is so rare that I live with it, the pluses so out weigh the odd hiccup

However for me AVG would be a red herring as this occurs while the mail is online, ie before AVG has "touched" it
