I tried to replace the language files with some old backups I had as well as clean ones from older versions taken from the Sourceforge site. Unfortunately, no change. I'll try to check back with some devs at my firm to see if they have a clue what might be the culprit. Else I just have to live with ...

Unfortunately, the language settings isn't the problem. I do run a German as well as an English version of PoptrayU on different machines and the issue is the same on both. Rechecking with my mailclient running UTF-8 displays the mail correctly. Since it seems something inside the code and not fixab...

Decoding issue
I ran into some encoding issues previewing a newsletter. What it looks like: http://i39.tinypic.com/1z3vznk.jpg What it's supposed to look: http://i42.tinypic.com/2cfsh9k.jpg The mailheader says it's "charset=UTF-8" and if I remember correctly I didn't run into any similar problems with UTF-8 encode...

Socket error #10060
I get a socket error #10060 each time I try to connect to an IMAP mailaccount, POP accounts work fine. The problem occurs for me since versions 4.1 and onwards. I did everything imagineable including totally clean re-installs of everything (with and without OpenSSL) and also fiddled with all possibl...

Sorry for replying so late. I finally had the chance to take a look at version 4.0.9 and for now, clicking links (as you described) do open in the standard browser. Yay! Looking forward to seeing further iterations ;) En passant, an access violation I had "troubles" with posting here (so to say) was...

[PopTayU] Links open in new window
Would it be possible to have clicked links open in a new window using the standard browser? Right now they open inside poptray, or if IE is set to offline mode in a new IE window. Though I'm aware from another thread here that the IE plugin is used, is it still possible to have links generally open ...

Props to joeperry for the solution. This problem was bugging me as well for quite some time. Still don't know why this thread came to my attention that late -.- Anyways... Strangely enough, the file in question was in XX:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\avg9\emc\Queue\IN\10110 It's...

Since RegExp are still pretty confusing (to me), maybe some of the geniuses over here can help. Problem: I get flooded by spam mails starting with e.g. Re: [0/18]: YOu don't need... . The figures in brackets are random, most of the time followed by the usual crap like enlargement offers, medical BS,...

I do not have the choice of "Body", although I had been looking for it. Can it be itwas forgotten in the German version? Actually, nothing was forgotten. Try it yourself by changing the language back to English and you'll see that the "Body" field will not occur either. This screenshot relates to a...

At least when it comes to the "Viagra" problem, there's an excellent RegExp (by vitoco) to be found this special thread:

(see page 2 onwards)
Maybe some of the RegExp specialists here can provide some more examples for the most annoying catch words.

The "Service Temporarily Unavailable" error is usually related to some serverside problems of your ISP. Maybe only some "hickups" of their servers (or the software) but the reasons regarding this problem can be quite a few. I got the same message some time ago when my mail provider updated their ser...
