This may be a Vista/Norton problem. If I setup Poptray/K9 in Virtual PC 2007 running XP Pro then everything works as it should. In Vista, prior to replacing avast with Norton, Poptray/K9 and Vista ran fine. Replaced avast with Norton and the Rules in Poptray stopped working.

I removed the trailing right bracket. "Any Row" was selected. Norton Anti Virus scans all email

Dave, I have been a K9 user since its inception and a PopTray user for the last year or so. All of my email accounts flow through K9. Charlesdb, thanks for your reply, but my problem seems to be related to malformed headers in SPAM messages, which cause PopTray to choke.
