Scrolling on confirm window...

I have been using pop tray for years now and have turned many people on to it's unique abilities to keep up with many email accounts. Personally I have 18 different email accounts and would have a hard time keeping up with them all without poptray. Now I have learned something that I can use poptray...

Tried That...

Rdsok, I probably should have mentioned that I tried AVG to begin with, but it has become much like Norton, more interested in selling you something rather that helping with a problem. I spent 30 minutes going completely through their site trying to find a place to report a problem, but I could not....

I am using AVG version 9.0.839 and windows 7, 64 bit. I was having this same problem Joe Perry was having. Joe Perry was using XP so the files that I needed to delete were not in the same place, but after reading his solution and by using a search for *.emc I found the files he referred to and delet...

RE: AVG and Poptray phantom messages

Thanks JoePerry

I had been searching all morning trying to find an answer to this problem. Its nice when someone will take the time to help someone else. If not for you I would still be trying to figure this out.

You need to add your actual email server and email address. The items you entered (mail.poptray.org) were just examples and don't really exist and can't be used. Thanks Again Dave! It was a not seeing the trees for the forest type thing... or just plain stupidity on my part. Funny how when you conf...

The easiest solution is to not open PopTray on Startup. Windows is losing track of the icons when it is opening several things at once. If you take PopTray out of the START MENU / STARTUP Folder and manually start PopTray Windows probably won't lose the icon. Thanks Dave, That sounds like a good wo...

More than likely its either your antivirus email scanner or firewall blocking it... it sounds like the firewall needs to allow K9 access as being the more likely cause No... I'm using Norton Internet Security. I went in and made sure that K9 is set to allow. Thanks for the advise, but the problem r...

...does not resolve to a valid IP address

I'm trying to get K9 to work with PopTray. I followed KY Daves instructions very carefully. In the setup of the PopTray account, I inserted 127.0.0.1 into the server field, and "mail.poptray.org/110/denn" I have tried it with denn@poptray.org at the end of that also. When I test it I get this error ...

mmm, this morning it didn't work again but then I try this: launch the program (it 's launched at startup) close it with X button launch it again minimize with the "To Tray" button et voilà :-) Carlo Thanks Carlo, I've been having the same problem and tried your solution. It works fine, but I do wi...
