Hello,

Do you find the same problem when you use the "Alt Gr" to add special characters to the "Text" zone on the "Rules" screen ?

Thanks

Re: 3.2: Another Access violation while Create new account

Hello,

I would agree with ujr, the access violation message is not an error message, the user does not know what he/she has done wrong nor how he/she should put it right :) .

Re: 3.2: Access violation when creating a new account

Hello ujr, What type of account do you have when running Poptray 3.2 ? Admin or Power User. I have had the same problem with the "Alt Gr" key on a french keyboard, and as you I have noticed that this do not happen with 3.1. There would appear to be no problem when running Poptray 3.2 with an Admin a...

Re: See all the accounts by different users??

Hello, My original post is here: http://forum.poptray.org/viewtopic.php?t=3301 I have full control over the shortcut, I can add accounts, add simple rules, but when I used special keys directly from the key board, I get an "Access violation". I can copy and paste rules than contain a " ^ ", but I ca...

Re: See all the accounts by different users??

Hello,

Another point is that with version 3.2 there is a small bug; depending upon what type of account you have when you modify "rules" thing do not go right, it would appear that you need admin rights.

Re: help pls, no Body

Hello,

You must first check the tick box "Retrieve body while checking" on the "Options" tab, in the "Advanced Options" section, before you can choose it in the Rules "Area".

Re: Poptray keeps on popping up (notification problem)

Hello,

I believe that this can be solved by the "Remember Viewed Messages" in "Advanced Options - Miscellaneous".

Re: Desk top icons thrown into disarray with PopTray 3.2

Hello,

A couple of questions:

Did you have a prior version of PopTray before 3.2, if so which ?
Are you running Poptray in with admin privilages ?

TIA

Re: Access violation

Hello,

Well, it would appear that this error is because the user account from which I run PopTray does not have admin rights.

I did an install of 3.1 and this problem does not exist.

Access violation

Hello,

I have a problem with the key "AltGr".

When I pull up the rules screen and try to enter a regex in the "Text" field for which I must press the key "AltGr", I get the following error message:

Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000.

Thanks

Re: No message count

Hello,
KY Dave wrote:If you are checking ony one account, that would be the 'normal' results.
Sorry but I do not quite understand what you mean by checking only one account. In PopTray I have 14 accounts, the total number of messages is 26.

Thanks

No message count

Hello,

I have just upgraded to 3.2 even though I had this 'problem' with 3.1, when I click on the "Run E-mail Client" button, the message count that appears in the systray disappears, there is only the envelope.

Is this a bug or normal ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Strange 'error'

Hello, Thanks for your reply, but may I point out the following; If PopTray does not find an .ini file it will create a blank one whether that be in the default program folder or in the current user folder, but this it does without any message to the user. I support the 'WARNING: FILE NOT FOUND' mes...

Hello, What would a user do if PopTray would not start with a default ini file and continually popped up a file not found error? RE-INSTALL? If Renier wanted to popup a warning message like "STARTING WITH DEFAULT SETTINGS", that would be ok, but to continue to popup a "File Not Found Error" would no...
