I can't really say anything on the IMAP plugins. I just wrote a simple one as an example of how to do a protocol plugin. The further workings of IMAP I'm not involved in.

I have now enabled the visual confirmation function in phpBB. To register you have to read the numbers in an image.

Hopefully that will stop the bots registering.

All these hacks just didn't work too well. I've now done a proper upgrade to phpBB 2.0.18

True, but the forum is now running on new hardware. (Xeon with 4GB RAM)

When I installed the new server I installed Ubuntu instead of Mandrake that it was running previously. Ubuntu is running nicely now.

Ubuntu came with PHP5. I see phpBB 2.0.18 now supports PHP5.

Forum Problems

Sorry, seems I broke the forum a bit when trying to make some changes.

phpBB is not really supported on PHP5, so that is why I get the problems.

Hopefully it's working again now.

You could try one of the email clients on TinyApps: http://www.tinyapps.org/internet.html

Thanks Richard.

Since a lot of people requested it, I'll be happy to add it to the PopTray plugins page, once you feel it is polished enough.

PS. I must still get around to add jskinner's Speech and YAC plugins too.

If that message will re-create the problem, then yes, please zip it up (to make sure it doesn't change) and email it to me.

Thanks.

Unfortunately I haven't seen this error once.

I unfortunately don't have the time to dedicate to this. Maybe someone else will volunteer to write a C++ plugin, or convert the device code to Delphi.

Yes, it seems the one with the "all" in it is redundant.

I could also rename the file to *.MSG
Will this work in your email clients?

Yes, sorry, I didn't feel very creative this weekend about creating a new image so I just re-used an old one. I should create a new image.

If you don't see a OPEN WITH option, try holding down shift while right-clicking the file.

I tried it now with Outlook, but it seems Outlook doesn't know how to open a .eml file with this default method.

In PopTray 3.2 (beta 2) when you click on the taskbar button, it should now minimize to the tray too.
