Neeeveeeer! ;) I like the constant beta-releases, I am using the beta as it was a releaseversion and it is sooo nice that the bugs are removed very quickly. And as it is, the users are actually beta testers, that job requires a lot of response from the testers and from the developer (beta releases)....

BTW, I use one program where the developers release betas pretty often. The are showing the know bugs on a web-page as a bulleted list and the status of whether the bug has been fixed or not: BUGS • crash on exit (fixed) • memory leaks in XYZ module (fixed) • Another bug • A really annoying bug • Bu...

Again, this is a setting that would nice it could be configured in the .ini file, but should not confuse normal (novice) users as settings on the options tab. It is really annoying that PopTray is busy and blocks access to other accounts when one mailserver does not respond. I used Magic Mail Monito...

Oh, I see. Well, you are right, it works fine now!

Decoding messages

Bug!

PopTray cannot decode your "poptray update" mails (with decode preview message option enabled). The progress indicator stops after 50%...

This has been a problem as long as I remember, well not really a problem for me, but it doesn't work.

OK, I've fixed the animation bug in PopTray 1.5 (beta 18) . The new feature to show/hide columns is also in there. One thing, with both animation options enabled then the icon it NOT animated, when there is only mail in one account. Maybe the concept is a little confusing now. Maybe 'animate icon f...

Poptray Beta 17 Bug

TheVoodoo wrote: The Problem is i will get notified if a mail arrives (I hear the sound) but i can't see the count in the tray icon! I didn't have the problem in beta 16.
I have exactly the same problem here, as soon as I enable animation the counter disappears.

:D Happy new year! :D

Well, I just turned animation off... But so far the detection of new messages seems to work now! :p :!: I just did the excact kind of testing as I did yesterday... or the day before yesterday... whatever, the detection of new messages works like a dream now, as far as I can tell. (With animation tu...

OK, I've now totally rewritten the Detect If New Mail code, to mark each message as old or new, and as viewed/unviewed in PopTray 1.5 (beta 17) . Please tell me the problem is fixed... ) Well, partly. When I turn animation OFF, yes. But when you turn it on, the tray-count shows no number of new mes...

Then I'm at a lost. I really can't seem to re-create your problem here. I assume you use the "Reset Tray Icon" option? Is you e-mail client also open and collecting mail while PopTray is open? My e-mail client (Outlook) is closed all the time. I only start it to collect the mail when PopTray announ...

Still countererrors and more

It's possible that this is related to people thinking that a negative number of new e-mails is a bug. You can have new mail, and still have fewer messages than the last time PopTray checked. The first time it worked, but as even more new mails arrive the tray is not updated. I replied earlier but m...

Tray count

I have the same problem all the time. After the tray icon is reset and mail arrives, the new mail sound is played, but the status icons remains blank. As a result I usually quit PopTray only to restart it to be sure that I am notified properly next time there is mail for me. :( I now discovered, th...

Tray count

[quote=krasnayath] (...) I've been trying to figure out if there is a pattern to it, but I can't seem to; When the "Reset Tray Icon When Viewing" option is set, after I check the mail and hide Poptray again, sometimes (50/50) when there is new mail, it doesn't update the count number and it remains ...
