Hi Rdsok,

Thanks for the detailed explanations AND THE TIP. I found the sounds you wrote about and I chose some that I registered in the Sounds directory of PopTray. I use one to notify me that I got new mail.

Have a happy Easter season!

With Windows 7 (Family Home Premium), I do not get any sound with Poptray. But if I manually find the sound and click on it, it plays.

How can I solve the problem?

Validation of Windows refused by Microsoft

About two weeks ago, a window opened on my computer screen telling me that the version of Windows that I run with (Windows 7 Home Premium x64) was not a genuine one. I had either to reinstall Windows or to buy a genuine version of Windows. Here are all the things I had to do to have Windows being re...

Skype to go

I live in Canada. I have a local number Skype to go. Normally, by calling this number (from my cell phone, from my land line phone or for any phone numbre, using a secret code in this last case), I can make a call anywhere in the world (except in a very few countries) at Skype rates. The cost of of ...

THE solution

According to the information that I found here, I changed the settings in Windows Live Mail. Now the messages, having been read, are deleted in the mail window of PopTray at the next checking.

Thank You GeeBee!

PopTray does not delete messages with Windows Live Mail

I just installed PopTray on a computer that runs with Windows 7 64. I use Windows Live Mail as e-mail program. Everything works fine except that in the mail window, PopTray does not delete the messages that have been read with Windows Live Mail. I have to delete them manually. I even receive message...

A recent yahoo.lua

You could download here what seems to be the most recent yahoo.lua file and replace the one that you presently have in FreePops. It could solve your problem.

With FreePops, the hotmail.lua frequently changes. Check what version you have and check if there is a newest one. If there is one, download it and replace the one you have by the new one.

[...] My first idea was to forward such email to another email and after delete it, but this idea is impossible. [...] You can open the message (PopTray will use Outlook) and then, you clik on Forward and you send your message to a webmail box that is not checked by PopTray. If the message is still...

The reason is very simple. I did not find any (free) software to manage a blog. So I used TOWeb (that can create web sites without any programming) and I adapted a web site a way that satisfied me and allowed me to do plenty of things on my blog. And then followed the template to send a comment. Bes...

Here's my rule (that works perfectly well) written for PopTray vs K9: http://www.brugi.ca/test/poptray_vs_k9_rule.jpg According to your preferences, you can modify the percentages or add an other row (for 70% and higher for example). Once your rule is written, save it. Turn off PopTray and reopen it...

Re: Deletion rules not working.

Well I finally got K9 & PopTray working together, sort of. I don't pretend to even have an idea how I got there. My latest concern is that my delete rules don't seem to be working. I copied Dave's rules down. K9 now checks the email, properly marks the spam, but then sends it on to Poptray anyway. ...

Re: Another Vista glitch

This behaviour occurs with Vista Premium and SP1. Default Vista screen settings are active. Any ot...

To make a test, can I copy the two php files in a directory that I will create and copy the script in a html page that I would name index.htlm and place it in the same directory?
