I agree...
If the web-based mail service is using the POP3 protocol this will work.
As I said for FlashMail...

I thought that generally the web-based mail services were not using POP3...

XBOX

This year, I bought a brand new Microsoft XBox console! I am searching people for online gaming.

In fact, I would like to find people to play Halo (CTF, KOTH, etc) using the XBox Connector.

Still waiting for online service XBoxLive that will be released this summer...

As always, I have to remember you that this is a POP3 mail notifier. PopTray doesn't support web-based email services...

The software works very well since I am using it with 5 accounts.

I appreciate all the features of PopTray, but I prefer: - Low memory usage (since I am using Outlook to read my mails) - I don't have to open Outlook each time and want to read my mails. - The real-time effect (~2 min). I can know reply to people in a few minutes... - It's free And first of all, I l...

I made a test...

Ok, so I am running Windows98 SE English on one of my computers. I've tried this test: I have unplugued my LAN cable while PopTray was checking new mail in 4 accounts. The first account was checked successfully and for the three others, I had to press the stop button. Then I minimized PopTray, plugu...

Hummm...

On my side, I am currently running PopTray 2.1 beta 1 on Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Pro (and on linux if I could do it) and I never had some of the problems listed in the above posts. I really think that PopTray is a usefull utility but, as all softwares, it is not perfe...

Download Mirror Site

Hi! Renier! I spoke to my partner (friend) and we could host PopTray files on our server. But since we are paying for this bandwith just to host our personal web sites, we can only offer you 2 Gb per month... This server is running up from San Jose. If you want to know more informations, contact me ...

POP3

This topic has already been spoken in the last weeks.

There's a search engine integrated to this forum, please use
this before asking something to the poptray community!

At least, it shows me that the community grows up! ;)

Check for new mail on startup

Hi! I think I've found something new... The option "check for new mail on startup" doesn't work properly in PopTray 2.0. I've closed PopTray and restarted it... Nothing... I checked manually for new mails and... wow 4 new messages! I would like that someone else tries it... I am running PopTray 2.0 ...
