Timers and notifications

It seems that you have to re-check the account if you receive a new mail until you get no new mails... then, it'll not appear next time in the notification window after other accounts check. But this is not the desired behavior  This also happens when the interval of an active account is much ...

But what happened to little Victor's hair ? It's inside a small bag at home :) Seriously, this is the second time that someone from Europe asked for it. The answer is simple: it's easier to keep him clean without the hair for the first month of his life... remember that he cannot be washed until th...

Info baloon and full screen programs at the same time

When I receive an important message, a baloon is displayed. Good!

But when running a full screen program like a game or presentation, the whole thing messes up with the info baloon! :-?

I think that some test should be done (if possible) before displaying the baloon.

Changes in blank.ptlang for translators

The following messages were removed form blank.ptlang but still used in PT 3.2b1:

Code: Select all

This will create a rule to delete all future e-mails with subject=
This will create a rule to spam mark all future e-mails with subject=
Is this OK? :?

BTW, the following lines were added:

Code: Select all

Greek=
Valencian=

Re: PopTray 3.1 (beta 8) RC2

So it's time for translators to update their ptlang files!!! I've parsed all ptlang files from this RC to find missing and obsolete messages inside them, and found the following: Old New Language 8 27 Afrikaans 15 - Arabic - 35 Bulgarian 10 38 Catalan 38 37 Chinese 10 41 Croatian 6 2 Czech 38 44 Dan...

Pending bugs/wishes

There are some minor "bugs" (or wishes) not solved yet, related to translations, that should be solved for final 3.1: - there is a prefix "cl" for color names in rules window. - should color names be translated? - could the translations listing be sorted by language name _after_ translating language...

Wow, 950... but what makes me write these words is that 10000 posts have been reached as the "Who is online" section in main page sais. Well, this post must really be 10247 because 243 have been deleted (?).

I´m not able to write a doc in right English, but I can beta-test your proposal, specially the RegExp chapter. If you want, I can translate it into spanish ;-) BTW, the RegExp manual took me too much time to write in English, and unpublished parts 5 and 6 of it have gone inside an accidentally delet...

Taboo

Some taboo themes in a chilean (with one "L") friend's meeting are politics and religion. This time I'll do an exception, just to clarify some points... :o I live in a country where there are many, very different (opposed), tendences and affinities, and we must coexist. It is a fact that in Chile th...

Is there a way under 3.0.3 to write a rule that identifies a subject line with no blank spaces? I get tons of spam where the subject contains a single random word . This is identifiable with regular expressions or with multipart rules, but that's in the beta version. You are right with your comment...

I really though that you win your contest, as you said in your May 25 journal. Of course the last paragraph was strange in that context.

Anyway, congratulations to Andrew Pope (the real winner)... Oh! You forgot to include a diskette with PopTray!!! ;-)

Renier, I just wanted a comment about how the body is processed in rules , not about RegExprs. Please select one of the following: (a) the body is totally downloaded, then the rule is tested. (b) the body is downloaded in chunks of X KiB, and the rule is run on every buffered chunk. (c) after each d...

Few comments: (word_group_1)\s*.{0,10}(word_group_2) will search for one of the words from the first group, then one or more spaces (including newlines and tabs), then up to ten chars of whatever, then a word from the second group. To swap the dot and astherisk will search for a totally different pa...
