It works as expected to me... After a connection error, the remaining deleted messages are still marked for delete, and I have to recheck. What is wrong is to loose the connection :? I think that in your case, your messages are renumbered and retrieved with a new UIDL... Or your local UIDL's got cor...

I think I'm going to try to catch this one by reversing the way you suggested. Instead of testing for NUL, test for everything else and then use the NOT function. If PopTray cannot handle null chars, you are wasting your time. Them should be lost with some other chars following them  This is a...

I attempted that rule and got several false positives with \x00. I tried this with Header, From and Subject same results. This means that PopTray cannot handle null chars inside strings :-( In C and C++ null chars have a special meaning (string termination), then buffer strings must be handled with...

I don't know if PopTray (or the Indy component) can handle null chars inside strings. If so, you can try the following rule:

Header | RegExpr | \x00

and set the wanted action in the rule.

Hope this helps... Let us know if it works!!! ;-)

Gonzo wrote:Also is there any way to add a rule that will "stop processing more rules"?
I didn't request that this time

Anyway, I guess that Gonzo is asking for a rule option, not a rule itself.

Gonzo: Why are you requesting such an option?

You can't be serious!? I am serious! I didn't know how it was implemented in PT, so I tried to hint what should be happening. Was my guest (the "Probably" part) right or not? If so, PT should be sorting by string, if not there is another type of bug (as noted by Renier). As I use many systems (and ...

At least for me, it used to be like you described on WinNT, but not in Win2K. But I guess that your rule was set to notify important messages. An alternative for your need is to negate the rule and set ignore. This way you will get a small count in the tray icon only for your important messages. Or ...

I is 1 in roman, and II is 2. you is U in hack-slang... letters are numbers.... :?

In this case, I guess that there is some problem in the POP3 server if that message appears in a popup while checking for new mail. I have received other words instead of "you", but it is very like that message.

Re: Installation is required?

Installation of the pop tray program is required, for it configures the socket of your pc to the server, which serves as a gateway between the two computers, that why we set IP address to distinguish the socket connection of each unit. I've been in these forums for years, and I have no idea what th...

Re: 3.03: Date sorting still doesn't work

could this be my date format? I think so... It works perfectly for me using the format "2004-04-20 00:53:06" Probably you get day 3 after day 10 in the same month, jan after feb for the same day of any month, and 3:30 after 10:00 for the same day of the same year. Well, PopTray uses POP3 protocol, but it was written in Delphi instead of VB. Of course, PopTray's sources are available through SourceForge if you want to look inside it.

This regexp will also work for you:

As I can see, there is no bug the way you described it, because the focus is by default over the OK button, where you cannot scroll the windows message unless you change the focus by clicking in the text area. What it is really annoying, is the fact that if you press an arrow key once while the focu...
