Using Beta5. Also, all mails with things like "hot amateurs", "lovely vids" and all other possible combinations are correctly filtered & deleted, so the RegExp expression is applied. I'm able to preview the message from poptray, so no malformed header or corruption, nor base64 encoding. And It is no...

Re: Some Spam Rules for comment/adaption?

Please excuse my inexperience with Regular expressions (very much a beginner)!. However, I've lifted these from elsewhere and am trying them out in Poptray. They may be useful to others to filter spam. I'm not saying I fully understand them! or how useful they will prove - so would suggest try with...

Yeah, that would be a great idea.

I use this one for that: font-size:\s*((\-[^(p|>)]*)|1)\s*(pt|px)

It's the way it works. Poptray is mainly a mail notifier, you're supposed to download mails from the server with your usual email client

Betas 1 to 3 screwed my rules too, so I reported the bug and waited for a new version. When beta 4 appeared, I deleted all the rules (as the file was very messed) and created new multirow/regexp ones, and so far, not only works perfectly, but there are a lot easier to manage, as I now only need 5 ru...

Somewhere from Spain, I believe.
You're right; is the language used in the region of Galicia, in the north-west of Spain. It has some points of common with portuguese

I identified where the problem could be (or at least a bug)

When you're managing rules, if you scroll a rule with several rows (without modifing anything), the "save rules" button activates and then everything messes up if you select another rule

Serious bug: Rules messed after editing/deleting

Sometimes, after I edit/delete several rules, they reappear again, as a new entry in multiple row rules or just replacing another single rule. i.e., I deleted Rule 120 - "Body contains globalbestbuy" but it dissapeared, but now I have two rules, 73 & 1 with "Body contains globalbestbuy", and the ori...

no, i didn't mean that all the 175 rules are concentrated in one RegExp, but for example, now i can filter V*I*A*G*R*A, vi-agra, v i a g r a, and so on with only one rule, instead of making one for every variation. Look the Rules & Regular Expressions Thread ( http://forum.poptray.org/viewtopic.php?...

writing basic RegExp expressions is not very difficult. However, if you don't like to use it, you just can ignore the new options. With previous versions, I created 175 rules anti-spam. A lot of them have been concentrated in a single RegExp now

Use at your own risk... [bcdfghjklmnpqrstvwxyz]{5} - to filter a mail address like gftsfxytu@hotmail.com \$.*\$ - looks for two dollar signs in a sentence, for a subject like "turn $50 into $50000" [a-z]\s[a-z]\s[a-z]\s[a-z]\s[a-z] - for a subject with spaces between letters, i.e. "o r d e r o n l i...
