Can OSX mail program be launched?

I'm running PopTrayU in a Windows 8.1 virtual PC on a MacBook Pro using Parallels Desktop. Is it possible to setup an IMAP account in PopTrayU to launch an email program on the MBP? For example, can I configure the PopTrayU email account to open an OSX email application (for example, Airmail or Postbox) from the MBP, rather than the default mail program (Thunderbird) on the PC?

You can set it up to open any email client that is able to be opened on your virtual machine... in otherwords, if you can open it in your virtual Windows... you can use the same command to open it from PoptrayU by putting in the full path to the program you are opening.
