Why are the letters in poptray different in Poptray versus other email programs?
How can I fix this bug?

Re: Strange behaviour of the email letters in PopTray
What version of PoptrayU are you using?
What version of Windows are you using?
What you are seeing isn't a bug, it is what the older Poptray would show when an email was formated using UTF-8. But if you are using the latest version of PoptrayU, you shouldn't see it since that is a supported format.

Re: Strange behaviour of the email letters in PopTray
You saved my day
I was using PopTray 3.2 (Without U) - and Windows 10.
I uninstalled PopTray 3.2 and installed PopTray U v.5.2.6
Now everything works fine.
Thank you very, very much.

Good to hear the issue is resolved for you by using a version that supports both your version of Windows and that UTF-8 format.
