Website and Forum is back

Post by Renier » Thu Jun 13, 2002 10:52 pm

Due to some unforseen problems the PC that I was hosting my website on has been removed. I've now moved my site to another PC.

I cannot guarantee how long this PC and bandwidth will be available to me though.

Very happy to have you back live again!

I also hope that you'll find a solution for the hosting....

[totally OT]

This FIFA World Championship is to forget, for us italians. Moreno referee made a lot of errors in one soccer match, more that him collegues of Italy-Croazia (1-2) and Italy-Mexico (1-1).

It's a scandal.... we have the best referee in the world (MrCollina), and it is hard to loose in this way...

Score a lot of goals and you will win, regardsless of how big a fool the referee is...

I have to agree with Curtz. The Italians had plenty of chances to score in the game against South Corea, although there's no doubt that there were some not-so-good decisions by the referee as well.

@ilNebbioso: Collina really is the best but he's not allowed to lead games of the Italian team so there's no point in lamenting :)

Bateman,
I don't want MrColling leading our games, but I prefer to see referee a little bit better of the ones of Spain-South Corea, Brasil-Belgium.. The very best referee was the one of Turkey-Senegal (after MrCollina)!

Okay, the referees were quite often really crappy. On the other hand, referees from other parts of the world have a right to lead games as well. But as we have seen from the games of the Italian, Spanish or Argentinian teams there were simply not good enough.

Fortunately FIFA now (NOW!!!) made up their mind and brought up the best for the remaing 4 games. Collina for the final (is confirmed) and a (real good) Swiss one for the game Germany - South Corea. Let's hope for the best in the next tournaments :)
