Export settings?

Post by Elf Wizard » Thu Jan 17, 2008 8:28 am

Hi! :D

Can I export poptray settings (accounts and option settings), so I can use them at another system without manually configuring poptray from scratch :?:

Both systems are xp sp2 pro Eng.

THANKS and HAPPY 2008!!!

Install PopTray on the second PC.
Quit PopTray on the second PC.

Copy the files from the first PC...

The files that should be copied and pasted to the second PC's PopTray Directory are:
  • PopTray.ini
  • Rules.ini
  • PopTray.customize (if present)
  • WhiteList.ptdat (if present)
  • BlackList.ptdat (if present)
Now START PopTray on the second PC. It should start with the same settings as on the first PC.

You may need to point PopTray to different locations for the EMAIL Program and any other special files or programs you use. Such as special sound files or notifiers, if you use any.

or...

You can just COPY & PASTE the entire PopTray directory to another PC if you want to create your own SHORTCUTS.
