PopTray 3.1 beta 7 showing wrong emails

Post by mpot » Sun Sep 26, 2004 3:53 am

I had a situation this morning where double-clicking on an email in PopTray to view it resulted in the wrong email being displayed....it would display the email that was listed one above the email I had double-clicked.

Forcing PopTray to re-check my account resolved the issue, so I'm not sure if I can reproduce it....

Regards,
Martin.

Try this, in PopTray on the OPTIONS tab, MISCELLANEOUS, check the box for SAFE DELETE (USING UDIL).

SAVE OPTIONS.

CLOSE PopTray and RESTART for changes to take effect.

SAFE DELETE (USING UDIL)
This option requires that your email server supports UIDL, you can test for compatability on the account page, select the account and click the 'Test Account' button and you will see a window with a response saying if the account supports this feature.

AFAIK = It should make PopTray 'match' the email before PREVIEWING or DELETING any emails.

I have "safe delete (using uidl)" enabled already, and in my experience, it only matches the email when deleting, not previewing.
