Access Violation at address 0041C414

Post by wysocki » Wed Dec 21, 2005 2:27 am

I have had 3.2 beta in for quite a while and just today I've been getting the Access Violation error with "Read of address 00000008" whenever it checks for mail. I reinstalled over my existing because I didn't want to lose any settings. Win2k sp4 no plugins, just one pop3 account. A bunch of white/black list and rules. What do I need to do to save settings on a de-install / re-install?

Better yet, what's causing this message all of a sudden?

An other PopTray specialist should answer your first question. According to the second one, you could read this thead and see if the cause that I identified is the same in your case.
