I've noticed PopTray handles non-existent date headers inconsistently.
One of the Australian banks internet banking service sends out notification emails without a "Date:" header, and this seems to confuse PopTray.
The emails show up with a blank date in PopTray's main window, but when previewing a specific email in PopTray, the date shows up as "30/12/1899 8:00:00 AM".
I'd like to see PopTray be a little more consistent - if an email doesn't have a "Date" header, then the preview window shouldn't show any date (ie, similar behaviour to Poptray's main window).
According to section A.3.1 of RFC822, which defines the format of emails (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc822.html), it looks like the "Date" header is a required header....but my bank claim they can't reproduce the issue (ie, emails without a "Date:" header).
[Edit: this is with PopTray 3.2beta2]

Martin.
