Different tab icon (3.0b12)

Post by ilNebbioso » Mon Sep 08, 2003 2:16 pm

(*) Different tab icon when account has unviewed messages.
Renier,
I was very happy for this new feature... but it doesn't work on my pc... :o

(5 minutes later, after a quick test with my friend...) :?:  :!:

 ehm... it seems my color-blinded came out again... the two icons (unviewed and viewed into tab) are too much similar for my eyes. And, also to my (normal-eyes) friend, they're hard to be recognized....

I added this especially for you, and still you're not satisfied. :)

After having a tour through Milan by night with ilnebbioso driving the car i can confirm that he really has a problem with spotting certain colors :)
So Renier i think you must think of something else........

I don't know what's wrong with your friend's eyes but that icon is clearly distinguishable from the other one. Maybe fixing the settings of your monitor might help?!

We always knew and you proved it again: Italians are a strange people - but we like you nevertheless :P

Bateman,
simply my eyes are very strange, and I knew this since I was 3 yrs old. :o

My doctor visits me just once every two years (I don't need it more of this) and each time he looks at me from the door he immediately remebers my name and ALL my pathologies (myopia, nystagmus, astigmatism and some color-blindness). :!:

For eyes science, I'm a clinical case for sure!

I'm not talking about your colour blindness, things happen and my uncle suffers from the same. So no offense. But your friend should have his eyes checked, to me me (and others) this new icon is clearly different from the old one

Don't worry, I'm not offended at all!!! :D

Well, I asked to check them also to my wife... she confirmed the icons are surely different, but not SO different!!!

What the heck is wrong with your eyes?! 8)

Renier, I really like the new icon but I suppose there should rather be some flashing envelope with explosions and fireworks for the Italian people to recognise a difference

It seems the changes I've made only affects WinXP. Will change this.

Win9x/2000: Image Image

Which OS are you using? Will the XP icons be different enough for you?

I'm using both 98SE and Xp.
Yes, it seems on Xp they're more cleaner, also if for my own problem I don't see them at the first view!

Renier, thank you very much for you kindly help. Please do not spend so much time just for me... it's not necessary at all!

The XP icons are now used in Win9x/Win2000 too, and I've made another small change to the red icon.
