Is there any way to run e-mail client from plug-in?
I want to write plug-in, which shows message-box "You've got e-mail. Do you want to run e-mail client?" and if user selects YES - then it will run e-mail client.
Running e-mail client - how?

Isn't this already done without the need for a plugin?piter wrote:Is there any way to run e-mail client from plug-in?

PopTray, OPTIONS, GENERAL OPTIONS, check the box for INFO BALLOON ON NOTIFICATION
and
PopTray, OPTIONS, USER INTERFACE, check the box for ADVANCED SHOW INFO
SAVE OPTIONS, QUIT PopTray and RESTART for changes to take effect.
Then when PopTray finds email a balloon notification box pops up showing the emails that have arrived and there is a place to click RUN EMAIL CLIENT in that box also.
Yes, it is, but if somebody works is full-screen dos-mode then he won't be able to see anything...KY Dave wrote:Isn't this already done without the need for a plugin?piter wrote:Is there any way to run e-mail client from plug-in?

And if you create a plugin... the very same arguement you just made would also be true for the plugin.piter wrote:Yes, it is, but if somebody works is full-screen dos-mode then he won't be able to see anything...KY Dave wrote:Isn't this already done without the need for a plugin?piter wrote:Is there any way to run e-mail client from plug-in?
