Blacklist

Post by odysseus » Sun Sep 19, 2004 3:46 pm

I only use the black list system, because I prefere, if somebody whose email is ffff@toto.com, put in blacklist *@toto.com to avoid all senders from @toto.com.
But I have noticed that messages from people that are in the blacklist are not deleted any more. Have I forgotten something ?
Thanks

The way you usethe blacklist to block an entire domain seems allright to me.
Are you sure there is not a rule that protects any of the blacklist addresses (or maybe a whitelist entry)?

If you don't have a rule that protects an email as quosego has mentioned, look at your OPTIONS - MISCELLANEOUS setting for "Black List mark as Spam", if there is a checkmark by it, it is enabled and set to only mark not delete messages.
