Regular Expressions again

Post by Gerard Stutje » Wed Feb 22, 2006 12:34 am

Dear All!

How about this, the rule is looking for ^..@domain\.net$ . I told Thorsten his suggestion didn't work, it turns out it DOES work MOST of the time, but not ALL the time.

Why is "ch" marked as it should, but "aa" is not?

Image

Thanks.

Most likely because you have your RULE with the box checked for NEW MESSAGES ONLY.

Looking at the image you posted, the display shows (1) New Message at the bottom, so the RULE marks the new message, but doesn't mark the old message because it was downloaded a second time.

When testing rules and "Quick Checking" is on, also make sure you shift-click the "Check" button.

I don't quite understand. :o With the box checked (which is not the case) it should have marked the new msg only, the one with the red mark on it, right?

BTW, "ch", "jl" and "ul" also slipped through.
